We managed to introduce the incredible new UI in the beta releases of deskbar (2.13.9x series).<\/p>\n<p>This was thanks to the hard work of <a href=\"http:\/\/kamstrup.livejournal.com\/31173.html\">Mikkel Kamstrup<\/a>, and the moral support of <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.gnome.org\/view\/nigeltao\/2006\/02\/04\/0\">Nigel Tao<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>They both have nice juicy screenshots and screencasts made with the 1337 tool byzanz. They also presents the new icon, with even more <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tango-project.org\/\">Tango<\/a> love..<\/p>\n<p>Here are new ones just for you !<\/p>\n<div class=\"screenshot\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Beagle matches\" src=\"https:\/\/raphael.slinckx.net\/images\/deskbar-applet-10.png\" \/><br \/>\nBeagle returned some matches<\/div>\n<div class=\"screenshot\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Beagle snippets\" title=\"Beagle snippets\" src=\"https:\/\/raphael.slinckx.net\/images\/deskbar-applet-11.png\" \/><br \/>\nNote the snippets now returned by beagle<\/div>\n<p>As always, the more we receive feedback in the <a href=\"http:\/\/bugzilla.gnome.org\/\">bugzilla<\/a>, the more deskbar will be rocking at the official gnome release.<\/p>\n<p>We also need feedback about the new UI, could it be enabled by default, good\/bad points, etc. Come and discusson IRC (#deskbar on gimpnet) or the mailing-list.<\/p>\n<h3>Invest Applet<\/h3>\n<p>I have made very small changes, cleaned up the code, and removed useless stuff.
